Better Men
Young men's mental health program
Think Village’s Better Men initiative is a preventative mental health program designed to build emotional resilience and enhance the emotional literacy of young boys and men. It empowers participants to grow into confident, respectful, and emotionally intelligent individuals. The program fosters positive behaviour and attitudinal change, especially among young people from diverse and marginalised communities.

Becoming Better
The Program
At its core better Men creates safe, inclusive spaces where boys and young men can engage in meaningful and sometimes challenging conversations around masculinity, gender roles, stereotypes, and societal pressures. By addressing these topics early, the program helps dismantle harmful norms, increase self-awareness, and nurture healthier identities.

The Process
Delivered through dynamic and interactive workshops, Better Men works across schools, communities, and organisations to engage boys, educators, and parents. Participants gain practical tools to foster emotional intelligence, build respectful relationships, and create long-term positive change. This initiative contributes to shaping a future where boys grow into self-aware, empathetic, and empowered men.
